1st Annual Harrisburg Area Yarn Crawl Exclusives

What an exciting time to be a crafter! 9 amazing yarn and craft stores are participating in the first ever/first annual Harrisburg Area Yarn Crawl! For this yarn crawl, we are making some gorgeous exclusive yarn colors, plus, we have a wonderful raffle basket (bag?) that we are selecting one lucky prize winner for. Let’s start by introducing our 2 exclusive Harrisburg Area Yarn Crawl Colors…

Summer Farm & Winter Farm

Dyed up on our Yorkshire Medley Light base, these 100g (404 yard) skeins shine in the nuanced and familiar colors of our little slice of paradise. In our skeins of summer, you find the bright water-sport driven waters of the Susquehanna River, followed up by the relaxing purples of the our lavender field, ending with the bright red of the cockerel comb that struts around the barnyard ready to greet visitors with a hefty crow.

The sister color evokes feelings of winter on the farm. Murky, stormy waters of the Susquehanna, followed by a warm berry tone that reminds you of your favorite woolens, and ending with a deeper red that is still like the cockerel comb that struts around the barnyard no matter the weather.

These two yarns encompass our shop - wool, farm animals, gorgeous hand-dyed yarns, and the beauty of Long Level. We can’t wait for you to grab a skein (or two!) of these fun yarns, exclusive to our in-store shoppers!
