Baking Instructions
1/3 cup butter, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
lavender scone mix
1/2 cup cream (or milk)
1 egg
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a bowl combine butter, and scone mix, using a pastry cutter blend until it resembles coarse crumbs. In a small bowl combine egg, cream, vanilla and pour into crumbs. Mix until it forms a dough. Pat dough into a 8 inch circle that is 1/2 inch thick on a greased cookie sheet. Using a knife cut into 8 triangles. Bake 13-15 minutes or until lightly brown. Makes 8 scones.
