Returns:

Return Policy

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will accept returns for store credit or exchange within 30 days of original purchase date. A valid receipt must be presented in any of the following forms: printed, e-mailed, or saved under the customer's name in our POS system.

We will not accept returns on the following items:

  • Yarn that has been used or wound.

  • Roving

  • Needles

  • Printed materials including books and patterns.

  • Items that are marked “On Sale” or red-marked in-store.

  • Special Orders

Shipped Orders

If your package arrives and any of the following situations occur, please contact us at info@flyingfibers.com within 72 hours of receiving your package. We will gladly fix these issues and cover the shipping costs to remedy the situation.

  • Wrong item received

  • Missing item

  • Damaged items

Shipped Returns and Exchanges

Customers are responsible for covering all shipping costs to mail items back to Flying Fibers in the event of a return or exchange. Unfortunately, Flying Fibers cannot refund your shipping costs or cover the cost of shipping a return to us.

If you would like to process a return for shipped orders, please contact info@flyingfibers.com with the following information

  • Order number

  • Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

Color Matching

We understand the difficulty in color matching online. Please feel free to email us at info@flyingfibers.com for clarification on any items or to see how multiple colors interact with each other. We are happy to help you!

Special Orders for Yarn, Fiber, Needles/Hooks, or Spinning and Weaving Equipment:

  • Special Orders must be pre-paid in full at time of request.

  • An additional shipping and handling fee will also be required if we are not placing a shop order for additional stock.

  • Special orders for stock that we do not normally carry will require the purchase of the full bag (normally five or ten skeins per bag, this varies from company to company).

  • All special orders are final sale.

  • No refunds, returns, or exchanges are permitted on special orders.

  • Most special orders arrive within two weeks, however, we cannot guarantee delivery dates.

  • Some products are not available for special order.

  • A full refund will be given for special orders if the item/product is no longer available.

Help on a Project:

We are happy to answer brief fiber arts questions over the counter when time permits. Otherwise please consider scheduling a lesson.

Winding:

We have suspended on-site winding of yarn for products purchased during in-person shopping hours. To have your yarn wound, please purchase it online and select “yes” when prompted about yarn winding.

Shipping:

We ship worldwide via USPS Priority Mail, Ground Advantage and Express Mail

Classes:

Classes are currently on a hiatus until Summer 2024 while Irina works through her Masters program in addition to the regular work duties.
